Motion detectors
Motion detectors have passive infrared sensors that can detect heat sources, like the human body, passing by, and will signal the alarm. If your alarm system is somehow breached without alerting you, your motion detectors will sense your intruder and sound the alarm. Have a pet? As long as they are under 50 lbs the motion sensor will not detect them when they are roaming around.
Door lock
ZWave smart locks provide you with peace of mind security allowing you to know who is coming and going from your home. Once the smart lock is connected to your panel, you now can remotely access your lock to lock or unlock your doors from anywhere in the world.
Indoor camera
Indoor security cameras are used when there are no severe weather, or temperature considerations and a lower profile (or less-obvious) camera is required. They can be unobtrusive yet still offer great footage inside a home or commercial space. We recommend you consider this type of camera if you want to receive notifications when someone enters the building, or when you want to check-in on what’s happening in your home or office.
Door and window contacts
Door and Window Contacts are an easy way to secure your home. When a burglar picks a lock or opens a window to climb through, door and window sensors sound the alarm. They are a cost effective way to secure your home from the most vulnerable points of entry.
Thermostat
Z-Wave thermostats allow you to control the temperature of your home remotely. You can create heating or cooling scenes allowing for comfort, reduced energy consumption and utility costs.
Outdoor camera
Outdoor security cameras are used to capture events outside, view license plates, identify suspects, and allow check-ins on outdoor spaces. We recommend you consider these when you are having issues with vehicle break-ins, want to keep an eye on your pool, or want to monitor exterior areas around a property.
Temperature sensor
You can use the Temperature Sensor with the Smart Thermostat to monitor temperatures in other rooms where the thermostat is not.
Garage door sensor
This is a great option if you want to secure your garage and all of the belongings you store in a garage. This sensor will be mounted on the top of your garage door, and will notify you when each time the garage door is opened or closed.
Irrigation control
An irrigation control system is a device used to operate automatic watering systems such as drip irrigation systems or lawn sprinklers. With this automated system you are able to schedule watering according to the weather via temperature and weather sensors all from your smartphone.
Doorbell camera
Indoor security cameras are used when there are no severe weather, or temperature considerations and a lower profile (or less-obvious) camera is required. They can be unobtrusive yet still offer great footage inside a home or commercial space. We recommend you consider this type of camera if you want to receive notifications when someone enters the building, or when you want to check-in on what’s happening in your home or office.
Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
Regular smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are simply noisemakers; if no one is home, no one will hear the alarm. The equipment that JM Security installs are monitored detectors, which connect to your phone to alert you when an alarm is activated. Pet-owners are especially interested in these because they can be sure that they would be notified if their pets were in danger.
Light dimmer
Adding light dimmer switches to any room creates instant versatility. You’re in full control — whether dimming it down for movie nights, or brightening the lights to focus on homework all from your smartphone.
